WaterBear reads your Todoist tasks using a personal API token. It's a free code Todoist gives you. Here's exactly how to get it:

  1. On that page, find the box labelled API token.
  2. Click Copy to clipboard (or select the long code and copy it).
  3. Come back to this tab and paste it into Step 2 below.

Step 2 · Create your WaterBear account

This is the long code you copied in Step 1. We use it only to read your tasks for your planner — nothing is shared, and you can revoke it in Todoist anytime.
